Just wondering what happens if you don't have the $20.00 departure tax at the airport when you leave DR. Does that mean YOU CAN STAY:bandit:

It means you can't board and unless you are flying full fare (in which case with most airlines the tax is already in your ticket price), you lose your return flight and thus it is a lousy way to save $20.
