Air travel Santo Domingo-Puerto Plata
WHY? Bus fares are very economical (RD$250) to Puerto Plata. The airfare will be ten to fifteen times that much. Plus a much more expensive taxi ride to just get to the new airport in El Higüero.
Take a taxi from the airport to Caribe Tours in Santo Domingo, They have buses running everyhour to POP or Sosua....
