does anyone remember the article about having 30 to $32,000 US in the before applying for your residency. My question is if you have a house & land worth $30,000 US(approx.), would this be the same. My second question is for opening a small restaurant (30 seat or less), what are the steps that you have to follow:(paper, document, license, money, etc....). Please!, can anyone answer my questions.

Thank you, Royal, Calgary, Canada.

We posted the article in December. Under the new regulations, applicants for residency visas must present evidence of solvency such as bank deposits, property titles, vehicle registrations or companies that taken together surpass a value of RD$500,000 pesos (approximately US$31,250).
