the travel guide idea?
After reading a few trip reports lately, people have been commenting on using the Lonely Planet guide, and how outdated/inaccurate the information is in it.
I have also noticed lately a lot of new DR1'rs are now travelling extensively throughout the island and covering a lot of ground, with excellent suggestions and comments on areas not commonly visited by most tourists. With this new "breed" of people getting out of the AI's and actually learning more about the DR, I think the knowledge base is worth sharing, don't you?
Are you still interested in pursuing this idea? It certainly would be more current than most of the travel guide boooks on the market right now.
Just curious,
Marlie
