Las Terrenas Info

1. ATMs? yes a few

2. Time from SDO ... someone?

3. Must see sites Samana Peninsula: Matter of opinion.
Whale watch if in season;add cayo Levantado for a few hours. Falls at Limon from Las terrenas half-day. A day or so in Las Galeras - various things.

4. Good restaurants: Yup start with Peublo des Pescadores.

4. Beaches: Work a little way away from the sewer (river mouth) either West towards Hotel Playa Colibri and beyond or to the East Playa Popi (less nice?)

Take a longer trip (moto or taxi ride) to Playa Bonita for even nicer I think.

Other opinions and comments will be along ...

Playa Rincon is a must. On the way to Las Galeras. Do a search, there is a lot posted on this beach.

Los Haitises, whale-watching, El Limon waterfall, trip to Playa Rincon...

4)good restuarants
Atlantis in Playa Bonita, Alisei in Playa Las Ballenas, all in Pueblo de los Pescadores...

good beaches : all around !!!!!

Beaches, to me, none worth noting. Drive to El Rincon, on the way, stop at El Limon.
Whale-watching doesn't start for a while.
Restaurants. Wasabi in Pueblo de los Pescadores.
