Hi there,

I will be arriving with my wife and eight month old daughter in Santo Domingo (Santo Domingo Americas) on February 2nd. Since the flight from Norway is quite long we will stay one night in Santo Domingo to rest and try to get to Las Terrenas on the morning of February 3rd. We are planning to stay in an airport hotel to be able to catch a flight in the morning. I was therefore wondering if there are any scheduled flights going to Las Terrenas (or Samana if that is the nearest airport) that morning? I haven't been able to find any good flight schedules for any of the domestic carriers yet... Any good pointers are much appreciated!

Many thanks from wintery Norway!

Have your travel agency organize a flight from La Isabela Airport in Santo DOmingo to El Portillo Airport near Las Terrenas.
Notice that flights to Las Terrenas are not living from Las Americas Airport, so you'll just take a taxi to La Isabela.
You need bookings as we are now in full season.

Taxi into Santo Domingo.
Stay at one of the small boutique hotels in the older part of town.
See DR1 for information on these hotels.
Taxi to Metro Bus Terminal.
Take early bus to Saman?.
Get off at S?nchez.
Take taxi over to Las Terrenas.

You will have much more fun and everyone, absolutely everyone will ooh and aww over your little baby!!!

Have a wonderful time!!
