i am going to punta cana and would like to find out as much as possible about deep sea fishing in this area (species,best bets, good captains, etc ) i will be there on 4-7-00 help
Contact Manolo Despradel at the Punta Cana Beach Resort/Punta Cana Marina. He will be able to recommend the best that there's in the area. Don't expect too much.
Blue and White Marlin and Dorado fishing in the Punta Cana area is excellent from mid April all the way into the fall months. The problem is available boats to charter. I think Punta Cana Resorts had one available last year. You can pick up an occasional Sailfish in the fall and winter months.
