Love your country

I have traveled much of the world and i can tell you one thing for sure the DR and its people for the most part know how to treat a visitor.I remember when POP was Jack Tar Village and the government started taking tourism seriously. I will always recommend the DR for a visit not only for its beaches but for the warmth and smile of its people.

I agree with both of you! The country is beautiful as are the people. I'm going for a month with a friend of mine and we can't wait! We both love the people and the music and dancing! We're hoping to be dancing the whole time we're there!!! Where did you guys go? We're headed to Santo Domingo. I've been to Puerto Plata and the surrounding areas. She's been there as well as to Boca Chica and some other remote areas. I'd definitely suggest it to anyone considering a vacation to the carribean! Johanna
