La Avenida Duarte

I was there 3 months ago and the construction was just getting underway. Normally a project of this size takes years... :glasses:

The Chinatown project is suppose to be finished in the next few months. The first Chinese gate is already built and the second one is under construction. Also, the signs with Chinese letters were suppose to be in the country and ready for installment by now, but I don't know any more details regarding this.

As for the Duarte Avenue renovation, all the large advertisement signs which crowded over the avenue have been removed. Construction has been slow, but has been on an upward swing lately. The entire project is suppose to be finished later this year, but that's what they said last year, ahem.

Hm, maybe it will get done. Lately they are finishing all sorts of projects all over the country, so its a possibility.
