ESL in the DR

Is there a need for ESL teachers in the DR. My daughter will be finishing her high school shortly and with bi-lingual French/English with a few Spanish credits, she wants to teach English in the DR.
Is anyone available with info. on what the qualifications for a teachers position are, and is there a demand for this service in the Puerto Plata area?

I don't know about the Puerto Plata area but in Santo Domingo, there is a need for ESL teachers.

There were lots of classified adsin the Puerta Plata newspaper last week for ESL jobs.
