Another Dominican Author

Hi guys,

Here is an amazing book I just finished reading. It is by Angie Cruz, The name of the book is "Let it rain coffee". Of course the title was inspired by the popular song "Ojal? que llueva caf? en el campo" by Juan Luis Guerra. Definitely a good read!

It is about the Dominican immigrant experience in the US, specifically in Washington Heights in NYC. The book follows the family from their days in Los Llanos (San Pedro de Macoris) to NYC and all the drama that surrounds them. The writer does an excellent job, she makes you get immersed in the story as it unfolds!
