DR-US size

Shoes or dress? In any case the DR goes by US sizes as far as I can tell.

Shoe size is pretty much the same but dress and clothing is much more complicated.

I am used to North American sizing. If I buy clothing made in N america or is from a North American company the sizing is what you are used to.

However - when I buy clothes in the DR made outside North America - the sizing is VERY different. For example - if I wear size 6 jeans in North America - I wear a size 13 here in the DR (if made outside N America)

The Same size.

DR sizes seem to run smaller

Let me share this depressing fact: in the states I wear 8-10 ; here I am a squeezed-into 12 and probably need the next size up to be comfortable. shoe size for me is the same here as there
