Thinking of having a get together at "MiTaverna" here in Santo Domingo.

Friday, December 21st around 7pm seems to be a reasonable date and time.

Some food, beers, maybe a couple of sponsors for the event etc.

Who's interested?

I can't go to colombia, damn planes are full going to colombia from atlanta. So i wil be here. Lets have a christmas party. I hope oscar will be there too.
I would be willing to contribute to something, food etc.

What kind of food will be served? I hope not the traditional Dominican style roasted pig.
So whats on the menu? Besides the Pakistani food Thursdays, it it a regular restaurant with food menu or simply a bar with occasional catering?

On normal days they have a typical American bar food menu.
Wings, burgers, meat, pasta etc. Think The Steak House or Fridays.

Ok, sounds like a great plan. lets get people to commit on to coming on that date.
I like the santo domingo gathering, there I feel I am not talking to tourists. these are real expats who live 24/7 in a real city. So come and enjoy a night of entertainment.

Can't come this year unfortunately - English Christmas this year. BUT that means DR Christmas next year! Hope you all have a great time - and make sure you get lots of piccies and post them after!
