Cheap cabanas or apartments for longterm rent

Can anybody please help me on finding reasonable priced objects for long term rent (I was thinking in a range of 200-300 US$ p/m)either in the area around Santo Domingo or Sosua? It doesn't have to have luxury, simple furniture would be nice, though.

Does anybody know, what the procedures are to take pets (cat and dog) along into the DR?

You should be able to find a small apt. in the Sosua area for US$300.00/month. I might have something available. (Sorry no pets) Send me an e-mail next week.
