The US Embassy is seeking to fill a full time position for Residence Manager (Ama de Llaves). Basic functions are responsible for planning, coordinating and supervising both events and household staff at the Ambassador's residence. The person will handle budget, controls and accounts for funds provided by the Ambassador for salaries of staff and household requirements and prepares required paperwork for reimbursement. The person will be responsible to supervise, train and schedule household staff. The person will work with other offices in the Embassy in the Embassy to arrange for necessary maintenance, repair and gardening work. Other responsibilities are household ivnentory, menu planning and general shopping. The person needs to be fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
