single male on holiday in D.R.

Hi guys,

I'm thinking of going to D.R. in september for a couple of weeks on holidays from Europe. I am just wondering if it is the right place to have fun, is it safe...where should I stay..........Really simple questions but their answers determine the success of my vacation. So please if you know, please pass on the info, I would be extremely grateful.

DR is just right place to have a grat holiday! I have been there a couple of times and in September me and my friend from Germany will go there. This time we rent an apartment and we'll stay there about 5 mounths. Playa Dorada is a nice tourist area and it's close to Puerto Plata and Sosua. There is good night life and very nice people. I like when people smile and enjoy their lives! Wonderful place
