The last time I was in the DR in May of 1999 I paid US$10 to enter and then US$10 to exit. There was talk that they were going to increase this fee to US$20. So does anyone know if it is still US$10?

I was in DR this past May and am going again in September and so far it's still $10US.

Hi, I just returned from Santo Domingo 2 weeks ago. It's still $10. Have fun!

Not that I don't believe you Lyse, but will someone please explain to me how they can charge $5US more when exiting from La Romana (Casa de Campo) than other airports when the set fee nationally is $10US in and $10US out. Sounds like someone had a little $5/person racket going on. Hmmm...

La Romana airport charges $5 airport use fee plus $10 departure tax.
