slovakian representation in DR

Hi to all,

can anyone tell me if there?s some kind of consulate or representation of Slovakia in Santo Domingo, because I?m travelling to eastern europe this month and it turns out I need a transit visa to go through the country on my way to prag. Also any info about the country from people who have made the trip would be appreciated. THANX!

If that isn't the page with the list of accredited consulates and embassies, it's nearby and reachable from that page. Be aware that not all the phone numbers are up to date, but it will at least give you an idea if there is anyone here in the country. I don't recall seeing one. Seems like Latvia or Lithuania was the only eastern European (or at least former communist european) one on there. You're probably going to have to deal with someone in New York, or if you're lucky, Miami.
