How is Halloween celebrated in the DR???? Are there any schedualed special events happening for the holiday????

for the most part, Halloween is not celebrated here. at least not in Puerto Plata

It is celebrated here on a large scale considering it isn't a local tradition!

Lots of the discos in Santo domingo, have a costume party, etc. but as far as the kids trick or treating NO. Parties for big folks.
