I am having trouble finding Job postings for biology or biotech research in the DR. Can anyone tell me where to start? My background is in hematology research/cancer/viral and techniques run from the simple western blotting to flow cytometry to realtime. Publications run in a wide variety of journals from Nature Medicine to Blood. And so far I have worked in two countries and loved them both. My usual approach is to look for openings on university/company websites, however I do not know what universities have good research in the DR and have had no success at biotech companies (yes I have looked at the international ones such as PG, Eli lily, Pfizer ect). I have not started cold-calling yet. Does anyone have any good ideas as to where to start?
