Bean Bags in Puerto Plata...

I bought my pillow at Casa Nelson. Can't you put beans in a bean bag? I don't know if you can get the plastic pellets that we use in Canada in Puerto Plata. Seems to me that beans would be the cheapest. Should work well as long as you don't get them wet.

Dried beans would sooner or later go mouldy in this climate, especially in coastal areas. If anyone knows of a place where this synthetic beanbag filling can be found anywhere in the DR, I'd be interested in finding out too. I love those 'B-B-King' beanbag thingies they have on the beach at Jellyfish restaurant in Bavaro but would rather have them made than order them.
