I am an American citizen who married a Dominican in March 2008. I submitted the form in July 2008. I wanted to know if anyone knows a timeline as to when I can predict when I will hear anything. I also submitted the I129F form since it was free. According to US Immigration website, they are processing I130 forms filed on 2/26/08 and I129F 3/7/08. Can anyone give me some idea? Thanks.

Where did you send papers to? Did you get a receipt, return,
confirmation? Did they cash your checks. Did you receive a
form saying that they received your application? If you have
confirmation/receipts, it can take a year plus or minus, depending
on you situation. If they have your money, they are in no hurry!
ALWAYS document EVERYTHING. Send all corespondence
certified mail with returned receipt.

If they are now processing end-of-february-2008 petitions, it means 9 months delay. So see your receipt date (july??) and add 9-10 months on top of it. That's your timeline.
