Any bachata/merengue concert in the North Coast (Late Dec. -> Early Jan.)

I never get a chance to go to one of these, it's funny but it is hard to convince any of the locals to come with me !? (May be that's the problem - they don't want to be seen with a grino.... !?). I don't quite feel like going solo, but may be that's what I need to do.

In any case, it would be nice to mark the date and location in my diary ahead of time. I might get a chance to go this year, anything in the region from POP to Cabarete I guess.

Thanks.... that thread was idle until yesterday but it seems to have come alive again, great info. I should try to get to Azucar on Dec 30, where I can I find the info for prices ....
