Sand Castle- Sousa

Had relatives visiting this weekend and mentioned our 3rd trip to D.R. and they mentioned that they would never again go to D.R. apparently they went afew years ago to Sousa and stayed at Sand Castle Resort. I told them things must have changed in the last 5 years as everyone love to go there and most are repeat vistors.
Trying to find out more info on this resort.

The problem with Sand Castle was that it didn't have a good beach..Simply put it was down water for all the sewage coming from Charmicos sectioon of town.
I understand that the place has gone into bankruptcy, but I don't have a lot more news...Sorry.
there are lots of other places in Sosua, such as Casa Marina that are doing fabulously well and tons of smaller places that provide for every need...So you are right that you don't have to get down on a polace because of one bad spot.
The planners did not study the tides and the other major environmental issues of the site. Someday it can become a truly fabulous place, but only time and a lot of money will solve this.
