Hello,

What are the easement rights of utility companies in DR? A high voltage line is crossing my property. There is no contract with Edenorte to allow it and they keep "trespassing" to cut (I should they destroy) my trees in the proximity of the lines every three months.

What can be done?

Thank you

i am located within a community of homes. the government electricity is run from the highway to the association main grid . from the grid the elctricity is sent to our homes. for this privilege i am charged 215$ a month. No $215 no government electricity!!!

Is there a way 'legally' for me to say to the association i dont want to pay the $215 a mth and i want the government to go around your grid to my home.........can this legally be done?? or can the association say to the government 'go away' you have no business here?
