This isn't a tiguere. A tiguere has no visa, no education, no goals, no style and no hope. Hangs out with his buddies all night and preys on unsuspecting tourists so I can laugh at them later...

That's a sankie Lu, not a tiguere, a Tiguere in the DR is somebody who always get his way, have a lot of game, and is wiser than everybody (or so he thinks).

I do like the end of the article's "Channel your inner tiguere" comment. It is pretty on point except it is applying it only to the high class tiguere which is more the exception than the rule.
