I would like rent a car and do some exploring while in the Samana Peninsula. Where can I get a detailed map of the Samana Peninsula? Thanks in advance for any responses

You may have to wait to get to the DR to buy a detailed map of the peninsula. I would think tourist places would have such maps. Nevertheless, Berndtson & Berndtson publishes DR road maps and can be found at Borders or Barnes & Noble. Also, check with Amazon.com.
