Dominicans in Memphis, TN?

Hi!!!

Sorry for the delay in response, beatnik! How are you? How are you liking life in Memphis? Have you lived there long? And I heard that there is actually a Dominican Softball League that plays in Memphis every Sunday? Is that true?

How Are You?

I have been here almost year and half. I moved here for school from Atlanta, GA. How about you? I am not sure about the softball league but it would be nice to know where they play. How are you liking Memphis? Its nice to meet people of similar backgrounds, there is not much diversity here in Memphis......especially Midtown.

Dominicanos in Memphis??? wow, I am not that far from memphis, so I don't know but that would be nice and it is so hard to find dominican food and products around here also? but nice to meet you Beatnik, take care and God bless

I don't know of any place that has just dominican food or products in Memphis. There is a Vietnamese market in midtown where you can get certain seasonings and products. I heard there is a latin market off of Covington in memphis but I have never been there. It would be nice to meet people of similar backgrounds, work on my spanish and such =)

Oh, ok! ha, ha, ha, yeah, I need to really work on my spanish as well. I met a few other Dominicanos from my job as a table games dealer in the casino but we got to start putting D. R. on the map down here in the south. I would love for us all, tennesse, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, all of us to plan something for the 27 February, or some of the other big days in the D. R.any plans? any ideas? okay pray for hati and God bless, talk to you all soon,

the only dominican restaurant in memphis open about 19 days ago the name is 42 dominican restaurant

Hi, I'm Dominican and live in Memphis. Yes, we do have a Softball league which plays every year if you guys are interested please let me know. We also get together often to socialize, you know how we are!!!
