The US Justice Department reports that Vladimir Natera Abreu and Joset Rivera Verdejo were arrested in a joint law enforcement operation by the FBI, the Dominican National Police and the US Marshals Service. The defendants were fugitives since February 2019, announced W. Stephen Muldrow, US Attorney for Puerto Rico.

Natera Abreu and Rivera Verdejo were leaders in the drug trafficking trade in Puerto Rico. The arrests were made during a raid at the Torre Gil Roma XX on Max Henríquez Ureña street in the National District’s Evaristo Morales neighborhood. They are held at the National Drug Control Agency (DNCD) jail in Santo Domingo. They are expected to be deported to Puerto Rico.

Who will the next "two leading drug traffickers" be that will be arrested next week? Rinse and repeat.
Another example of the failed war on drugs.

I'm confused by "failed war on drugs". What does that mean and how is it "another example" when an arrest was just made?

Reminds me of Cesar Peralta.
Made tens of millions of dollars
down here for over a decade and
no one had a clue.
