Expect long lines, but for those who seek free Covid-19 antigen and PCR tests, the government has set up fixed stations. The announcement comes after the Ministry of Public health restricted PCR tests coverage by health plans to one a year, and requires a previous antigen test done in the past 72 hours. The test is open to those who have a medical prescription for the test and a Dominican government ID.

One of the testing stations is located at the Ministry of Public Health headquarters and the other on Tiradentes Avenue at the corner of Calle Club Rotario.

The centers are open from Monday to Saturday, from 8am to 3pm.
