I was offered remote work doing leasing & engineering reviews.
Pay was in excess of $100K but hey once you are retired you made a commitment.
It would be like divorcing myself to go back to work.....unless inflation forces me to.

I am a professional sanky panky, I just have zero clients.
No doubt.
Clients always see to come and go.

This job will require on site training.
Great for someone living in the states.

It only requires going there for training and equipment pick up. After that you go where you want.

Daily, I get linkedin job openings, often remote. More than once I was tempted to apply. But, having personal contact with people - especially children- even in a volunteer job could never replace a job alone in my house with my computer and phone.

What I do is not for everyone, but giving without expectation of anything in return (other than smiles and hugs and knowledge that I am changing lives) that beats all!

8am to 9pm 5 days per week is 3380 hours per annum.
At the minimum salary offered of US $31,100 that's $9.20/hour. At the top salary $61,300 that's $18.15/hour.
Realistically, what wage is needed to live somewhat modestly in RD?

I'd tend to believe those are two overlapping shifts of 8 hours each: 8am-5pm and 12pm-9pm, with an hour lunch break, 2080 hours per year.

Lets stay on topic...no more about dogs. For the right person the remote position can be a good opportunity.
