The CEO of Alofoke Media Group, Santiago Matías (Alofoke) has spoken with maximum expressions of obscene language. He says he will not attend the meeting requested by the National Commission of Public Entertainment and Radio (CNEPR) on Wednesday, 31 May 2023, at the Ministry of Culture, on “the impact of digital platforms (YouTube).” He said the meeting would be a waste of time.

He understands that the CNEPR has no legal power to make him an invitation to deal with issues related to the YouTube platform since Dominican authorities do not regulate it.

He also indicated that he would not apologize ¨for any word said that day, obscene or not.¨

Lord Foke, as some of his followers call him, ain't going nowhere.

Several times in the past, he's made similar announcements of his retirement from the many venues he owns, and his followers fall for it hook, line and sinker, thus generating more view$.

Like the vast majority of Dominican personalities and celebrities, he's not educated in the art of communication, but for a nation that only celebrates the attainment of $$$, he is Lord Foke.

One day he announces his candidacy for Congress; the next day he insults his critics in graphic detail, suggesting sexual acts and the like. Another day, he receives an award for his "contribution" to the Arts, followed by a tirade a week later in which he hurls insults to the very same organization that proclaimed him king.

He's rich and arrogant, and lacks the bare minimum of a basic education. Politicians court him and regale him with praise, hoping he'll endorse them.

He once proclaimed that there's no need to obtain an education: "Look at me: I came out of Capotillo, and I made it." His followers agree.
