Banco Reservas promotes sale of apartments in NY

The Banco de Reservas, that has a representation office in the Washington Heights area of New York, sponsored a fair from 22 to 24 March 2024 to promote the sale of apartments in the DR to Dominicans living in New York.

Dominican expats put in bids for 1,800 units valued at around RD$8.5 billion, mostly for in apartments.

The representation office channeled requests for loans for more than RD$7 billion.

A Presidency press release also reported that around 4,000 people attended the two stages of the International Real Estate Fair. Reportedly, 3,000 attended in NY where it was held on Friday, 22 March, Saturday, 23 March and Sunday, 24 March 2024. 1,000 people attended the fair when it was taken to Lawrence, Rhode Island on Saturday and Sunday.

Are they somehow limiting this to Dominicans in the USA only?

I imagine all of the apartments they are financing in the DR have all had their titles reviewed and confirmed.

That would be a huge selling point given the amount of problems they have here.
