The Ministry of Tourism and the National Hotel & Tourism Association (Asonahores) are hosting the Dominican Annual Travel Exchange (DATE) this 14 to 16 May 2025 in Punta Cana. This is the premier event for booking Dominican tourism vacations and complementary services and products. The event will take place at the Barcelo Bavaro Convention Center, centrally located in Punta Cana, La Altagracia.
Business meetings are set up through an online platform and Asonahores reports that appointments in 2024 were 8,398, up 88% compared to the previous year.
In 2024, the event hosted 500 supplier delegates and 340 buyers, marking a historic milestone.
