Isla Saona

Last year we did the Isla Saona tour and would love to visit again, especially the Piscina Natural. However I'm not keen on repeating the organised tour (something about being on a large boat with a bunch of drunks and very loud music doesn't appeal!)

Is it possible to find a private boat in Bayahibe for the trip?

There are plenty of private boats for hire to go there. There is a large port not too far from the La Romana Hilton in Bayahibe that has dozens. I would go in person and make a deal. This way you can see the boat and save the commission of the tourist service........Any taxi can take you there.......
