Javier Figueroa of Puerto Rico took the 2025 Cap Cana Ironman 70.3, repeating his previous victory. He clocked 4 hours, four minutes and 55 seconds. Second best was Diego Arteaga of Ecuador and Mathieu Teoret of Canada, as reported by Punta Cana Bavaro News.

Erick García Rossi made history as the first Dominican to finish the race. Argentine Brenda Schaupp finished as the first for women in the event.

The winners praised the local hospitality and race setup. The organizers even claimed an entire stretch of the Coral Highway, for the safety of the bikers.

Athletes from 43 countries participated this 2025. Around 200 local competitors registered for the competition.

The Ironman will be back on 17 May 2026 in Cap Cana, announced the organizers, SBR Sports.
