I really want to get a little personal pepper spray. I asked DomEx and they said they cannot accept it. My old one died years ago and I'd like to have one with me for my early morning dog walks, just in case.

Does anyone know where in Santo Domingo I could buy it. The one I had, bought about 10 years ago, I got in Cuesta Feriteria.

DomEx said to have someone bring it here but I don't know anyone.

When you find one, don't forget they have a shelf life. I wouldn't go beyond two years. But then, I'm not much of a gambler.
I sell them in my store.
I usually bring a couple in checked luggage when I visit there.

I'd really prefer a little canister type thingy to wear on my necklace keyring that has vinegar spray or could be refillable . But no clue what that would be.

I really don't like them as the only time I sprayed it got on my hand and burnt and didn't hit the attacking dog.

I'd just feel a little safer with something other than a tiny pocket knife in my fannypack-dog treat holder thing.

There are a lot of how to recipes online. I made my own with cayenne pepper, oil & alcohol.

I've seen that but it's in large spray cans. I could see me walking 3 dogs in the street carrying a big can with me. I can't even carry my stick that I used to always carry. My hands are occupied untwisting myself from leashes.

I won’t be back until the end of the year, but I can bring some for you if you don’t find any by then.

DomEx said its illegal to be sent by mail. So not going to try it.
I think you'll find that many times they will tell you no, but in reality they'll do it.

I've had that experience with dozens of different items. Read between the lines here.

I suggest you buy a cheap one and try.
