The Dominican Republic solidified its position as a leading agro-export power in the Caribbean with the successful conclusion of business rounds at Agroalimentaria 2025, a trade fair organized by the Dominican Republic Export and Investment Center (ProDominicana) and the Dominican Agribusiness Council (JAD), the Presidency reported.
The event, one of the region’s most important agri-food sector gatherings, generated business leads totaling US$528.6 million, marking a 28.9% increase in sales compared to the previous edition. This figure makes it the largest and most successful Agroalimentaria to date, according to ProDominicana Executive Director Biviana Riveiro Disla.
Riveiro also reported that beyond the business leads, the international fair attracted over 200 international buyers from 33 countries, underscoring global interest in Dominican agri-food products...
