That's a lot of people out of work. Hope they pay their employees.
I will not be surprised to see people picking outside with signs in a few weeks time over not receiving what's owed to them.

Would have thought the Hyatt part of the drama would have been handled better given the owners political asperations.

These are the DR Hotels that are affected. If you have a reservation you need to read this..................

Based on this Redditor’s comment, here are the properties that are apparently affected by this acquisition.

Sky.....any thoughts on how this will affect their bottom line? And secondly, re the DR, the idea of an all inclusive is like mother's milk here and in the eyes of the majority of tourists...is it not?

Means nothing. US Embassy has been issuing this crap for years and PC only gets busier... And the hotels here have whatever the tourist is basically looking for and it has worked well..........

The resorts are no longer part of Hilton's sales and marketing. They are now part of Hyatt's sales and marketing.
This is causing inconveniences. It does not mean they are closed and that the inconveniences can't be resolved.

Reports started coming in a few days ago from members of our Frequent Miler Insiders Facebook group. For example, this member had a booking at what was Hilton Rose Hall, but when happening to check his account he noticed the points for the stay had been refunded and his booking had been cancelled. When contacting Hilton, he was informed that they wouldn’t be issuing and compensation and that he’d need to escalate it to Hilton corporate if he wanted any kind of resolution. For what it’s worth, this particular property has been rebranded as Dreams Rose Hall and is now bookable with Hyatt.
The truck driver clients were probably not up to Hilton's standards so they passed them off to Hyatt.
