After being in the states for two weeks I came back and discovered the 24/7 farmacia on the main highway in Charamicos is closed, and the shelves all empty of the drugs they once sold.
Anyone know what happened ?
This seems a little more than a vacation...... ?

WHAAAAT? I mean, they were ladrones, with the highest prices for everything, and actually very little in stock. But 24/7. I know, at least in NY & New England, there's some law that for a certain number of blah-blah-blah population and blah-blah-blah miles, there has to be a pharmacy that's 24/7. I am also keenly aware of where I live now, and let's just say it's a country that has no word for "customer service." There's a 24/7 in La Union, if I recall. Not that I used Alberto's that often, but this is a blow. Maybe it interfered with the ambiance Luis is fabricating for Sosúa.

I used this pharmacy late night many times when living in Charamicos.
Taking the bus up to Sosua tomorrow morning to visit with some of my
Canadian friends.
I'll ask around and find out why've they closed down after all these years.

Blue Collar Town in New Jersey
Sometimes these places borrow Money and cant pay it back on time .. And then the Inventory is " confiscated" as an incentive to get Payment on the money owed, although the inventory may have had nothing to do with the Loan itself ... Once this happens it is usually over for them . just a theory, from one ive seen play out.
