La Guazuma/Las Galeras

Hi everyone! Im new to DR1. I recently visited Las Galeras a few months back and decided I wanted to have a future home in Las Galeras. My last visit i fell in love with La Guazuma which is a little on the outskirts of town. Anyone else living in this area or who has purchased land recently? I know the price range is from about 18 to 40 per mt which is much cheaper then in direct town and La Loma. I actually like this area better. I would love to hear anyone else's experiences and reviews of La Guazuma though. Im from New York living in Arizona and this will be my first time building a home from scratch.

Where in AZ? I used to live in Tuscon. Liked it a lot.
