"Chagon" is a homemade weapon. Its name is a Dominican corruption of the word "shotgun".

What do you bet she shot one with the shell in the chamber (the one who's still in the hospital) and went upside the head of the other.

Just an amazing story. I am glad it was a positive outcome. Things could have turned for the worst for the lady.
