Ough! Not a nice way to treat a brand new Volvo SUV. This was in Santo Domingo Oeste. The woman that gets out of the SUV doesn't seem very happy, judging by the body language. She's probably still paying for that SUV.
You are not alone.Would like to see the photos but I don’t do any social media platforms. Except DR1 if that's still considered a social medium.
I guess that shows I'm older than 12
I couldn't agree more. Bikers on cell phones leaves me smh. I take moto taxis/conchos but never permit the driver to use the phone.Truck without lights turning without checking to see if a car is coming. Car driver was probably looking at their cel phone and not paying attention.
That's why I always say you have to constantly watch what's going on around you and anticipate everything because most others don't.
Flatbed turned wide and squeezed out the Volvo in the other lane. Volvo obviously wasn't expecting to be taken out in their own lane, and truck driver obviously wasn't looking in his mirrors as he turned.Would like to see the photos but I don’t do any social media platforms. Except DR1 if that's still considered a social medium.

I must say I am amazed at the orchestrated chaos of the motos in the city. Thousands moving in and out of traffic. I just am shocked that there are not more deaths. A pack of 40 will pull up to that busy inter section of Sarasota and Moya and take off like they are being paid 100-dollar bonus for a quick delivery.i saw a guy the other day on his motorbike no helmet ,using his cell phone .....but luckily wearing a mask
I have taken moto conchos but not very far. Not much safer than drivingI couldn't agree more. Bikers on cell phones leaves me smh. I take moto taxis/conchos but never permit the driver to use the phone.
No amigo! Sin teléfono. Solo conducir!
My favorite is the moto that has the Dominican washing machine balanced on the back of his bike, talking on his cell phone and enjoying an ice cold Presidente, all this and the bike has a manual transmission.I couldn't agree more. And a 4' long gas cylinder under his legsMy favorite is the moto that has the Dominican washing machine balanced on the back of his bike, talking on his cell phone and enjoying an ice cold Presidente, all this and the bike has a manual transmission.
I really respect that. I hope when he is killed, which is inevitable that it is fast and painless for him. He mastered the art of absolute stupidity, and he did it like a pro. I really hope he doesn't have to suffer much. I also hope he doesn't run into me.
One of many reasons why the DR still is the most dangerous place in the world to drive.
Fantastic idea but easier said than done. They should consider a system where people drive on the right hand side of the road and pass on the left hand side.
as I've been saying for years it's like driving in a 1980s car video game you have to expect the unexpectedTruck without lights turning without checking to see if a car is coming. Car driver was probably looking at their cel phone and not paying attention.
