I have some plane tickets for mid april to DRepublic (either Puerto Plata or Santo Domingo) (7) nights,and I am considering going there with my mother (56) (Short of relax time and a nice present for he). We do not like this huge reshorts, we rather have something smaller, but not less luxurious. Apparently Casa de Campo would be the best alternative but seems to be quite expense. We love quite and turquoise beaches, doing snorkelling, horseriding and shopping, and this probably is easy to find in the south east coast. May be you could give me an idea of the more adequate area or hotel. We do not mind paying more if we get quality. Any idea will be helpful and appreciated. Have you heard or visited Reina Cumayasa (La Romana)? How is it? Thank you very much in advance for your help. Regards.
