Can someone verify whether or not this is the same (African-American) Ira who lived in Sosua

No. I didn't see his picture but I'm curious because the name Ira isn't very common among Americans living on the north coast.

It's possible, or there was some sort of drug exchange that played a part, or he was naïve and just got played in a honey pot scheme. ?
In any event he got in over his head by mixing with the people from the shallow end of the gene pool.

My sympathies to his friends & loved ones - He looks like a decent guy.
Hopefully there is some video that will be posted of him in the club that will ID the girl and the killers.
