The Playero has a new kiosk type of dessert display.

The Carrot Cake did not have the tradioinal cream cheese frosting which was a huge disapointment.

The olive tanned beauty that bakes these deserts frequents the Playero and rotates the desserts when they are about to expire, however the ingridents lack in quality.....margarine instead of butter etc.

I was hoping her Cheese Cake would be good but it is nothing like Sandies.

The Cubana Cafe, makes amazing deserts, chocolate cake, like heaven, bread pudding, apple crumble, to name a few I persoannly know!!! Then there are chocolate chip cookies,,,, need I go on. She also takes orders for certain thinks...

Oh, and the best cheeseburger ever!!

I like the chocolate cake and sugar cookies from the bakery across from the Playero.

I think the name is Cafe Cubano and if you looking for the best chocolate cake in town, this is the place. They also have other pastries worth trying. It is a very nice place, and good service.

Cafe Cubano also has the best coffee/cappucino's etc in town according to my wife and our friends (I'm not a coffee drinker). It has also become or favorite place to have breakfast as their waffles and omlets are wonderful and cheapy, cheapy. ;)

the german bakery. i may be biased coz i'm european :) they have great sweet buns with fruit filling. they look like danish pastries but way sweeter.

the German bakery across from Playero has great baking, and yes the sweet buns are soooooo good. I'm not even European and I loved it.

I agree with the Cubano Cafe. We end most of our meals in sosua there for coffe and cake. It is a few doors to the west of Britania Rest. I also agree the burgers are the best, but the bun is too big.
