I am currently looking for a new opportunity and have been asking/looking around. It seems like the hourly rate is anywhere between 150-200 pesos/HR to start. There are a lot of telemarketing/collections campaigns. A lot of different signing bonus and commissions, perfect attendance bonuses, meal subsidy, daycare and transportation benefits advertised.

Call centers here now have "metrics" and "quality" evaluations, projects opening and closing in one place and then the other and each call center has it's own "reputation" for this or that.

Larger more organized companies now require you to have a DR Cedula but some smaller ones still accept passports.

Nearshore (now Advensus)
Alorica
Trueshore
Teleperformance
ERC
Data Vimenca
Convergys (now Concentrix)
Teleperformance
PrestigeMedia
LCB-NET

Are some names that come up on a quick search. There are Call Center Jobs DR pages you can join on Facebook.

Hi Frank, you're welcome. As you must already know, pay is per project and based on your profile. I don't think anyone pays less than 150 for someone with a decent resume (if they want to compete). At some point if you are really interested you'll have to do some leg work of your own.

I suggest once you establish which are reliable and pay roughly the same you look at ease of transportation. You don't want to work an 8 hour shift and then spend 1 1/2 getting home (which is possible in the capital).
My son has a nice center near to Price Mart on Charles Sumner, if that is a good area (few blocks from the Metro on Kennedy/churchill) let me know and I 'll see if he is hiring.
