Anyone Going to Shakira's Concert at the Estadio Olimpico March 30, 2011?

A bunch of my friends have timed our annual Spring Break Trip to the DR at the end of March so that we can also attend Shakira's Concert in Santo Domingo at the Estadio Olimpico. Does anyone know if UepaTickets accepts US Credit Cards to purchase tickets online? I registered but it asked me what was my issuing bank (Banco Emisor) but the drop down only shows DR Banks. It appears to allow you to write in your bank, but I was not sure it 'took'. Also we plan to buy the VIP Tickets to be close to the stage. Anyone know if there is seating or just standing in those VIP sections? Thanks!

VIP sections does not always mean closest to the stage. The Last 2 events I had been (Dj Afrojack & David guetta) the VIP area wasnt in better location than general tickets.
You can get tickets for TERRENO (field area) and be in front of the stage (of course, if you get early). VIP area are normally at both sides of the stage, not in front.
No seat for regular VIP. A lounge for Platinum & Diamond VIP.
By the way, Marc Anthony is scheduled to play on the 24th. A better show in my opinion.

Thanks. I was able to purchase my tickets online throught UepaTickets using my US Credit Card. I decided to purchase the Special Guest Tickets since they are close to what I would pay in the US anyway. I love Shakira, but will probably check out the Marc Antony Show too. Is it in Santo Domingo too?

Tried to use the site for purchasing tickets but it would not have it. Tried with Paypal as well but that didn't work. Hope to be able to get some tickets in Santiago today.

I was able to purchase them online. I had to call my credit card company after the transaction was denied the first time, but it worked after they approved it.

Managed to get two VIP Platinum tickets at MovieMax in Plaza International in Santiago. They open at 2:00 pm. Great!!!

i bought mine at jumbo - san pedro- at the Avanza place and those were the prices that they have, are you getting it more expensive? im sure about those prices cause i already have mine - i hope i paid the right amount!:paranoid:- but yes there in Avanza those were the prices they were showing when i got mine - u have to buy cash.
