Aparta Hotel

Can anyone suggest a aparta hotel that is nice but affordable, has wifi, flat screen tv, cable an Santo Domingo. Maybe something with a little Spanish character?

The last three times I stayed in SD I stayed at Hotel Adolpa twice, and Hotel Isabella near in the Zone.
I will be staying there approximately three weeks

My fiance would like to be able to cook so that is the major reason (and she is a great cook)

I would recommend Hotel La Roma in Calle Duarte, a stone's throw from Parque El Conde. It is in the heart of La Zona Colonial and it has cooking facilities.
On top of that, it is clean, affordable and the staff very courteous
