apple vacations to punta cana????

Has anybody traveled using the Apple tours? Also more about Punta Cana/Nightclubs!

Apple

I always use Apple and did use it to Punta Cana last year. We have had very good luck with them. They use charters which although a little cramped, go straight to your destination. We were delayed about an hour on our return, but have heard sometimes longer. The airport in Punta Cana is a charming thatched roof building with little to do if delayed. Patience is key. Punta Cana was wonderful, there is no town, it's all resorts. Where are you planning on staying? The resorts, for the most part are very large, have lots of restaurants, bars, a casino, and their own entertainment. There is really no nightlife outside of the resorts.

Night Life

Try Club Pacha in the Riu hotel, we had a GREAT time there, and it was packed. There are a bunch of little places around punta cana if you dont mind paying for taxis. Check with the animation staff at your hotel. They will be able to tell you, where and when is good, maybe even join you! We never had a lack of things to do at night, you just have to look, ask, and be creative! We went to a few very local places with employees from the hotel and had the best times!

Happy with Apple

We had a smooth trip as well from Detroit and back, slight delays on both ends but under an hour, just meant time for another Presidente before boarding for the flight home!

We stayed at the Barcelo Bavaro Beach Resort and the nightlife was good there, we enjoyed the discoteca and the Latin nightclub across from it on more than one occasion.

We were also told of several good places to go, such as Cafe Huracan (only open Thurs and Sat though) and Puerto Bavaro, by the staff.
